When you think of home renovation, you probably think of extending a room or changing cabinets in a kitchen or modernizing an older home. But there's a whole new market of people needing home renovations – the elderly.
Renovations for the elderly
According to a recent report by CNN, are renovations at home for the elderly on the rise. Such renovations are the fastest growing segment of the restructuring of the sector, said James Lapides of the National Association of Home Builders (Nahb). Nahb recent study showed that 75 percent of companies have seen an increase in the conversion of debts owed by so-called "aging-in-place work," too.
