According to the TCNJ website : “The College of New Jersey is one of the country’s most environmentally responsible colleges according to The Princeton Review”. What a joke – TCNJ remodelled its bookstore and dumped hundreds of flourescent lightbulbs into the dumpster, along with recyclable/reuseable metal racks and shelving. Either TCNJ or the contractor(s) that TCNJ hired are ignorant to the environmental harm that dumping flourescent lightbulbs will cause. The amount of material in this dumpster could have easily been halved if some conscious consideration and thought was put into the proper sorting and disposal of these materials. Shame on TCNJ and the contractors who did this… but thanks for all the free stuff we managed to salvage from the pile
